Privacy Policy

Last updated: 20 August 2026

‍ ‍

This Privacy Policy explains how Mira Studio ("Mira", "we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and protects your personal information when you visit our website, book a class, become a member, or otherwise interact with us.

‍ ‍

Mira Studio is a trading name of AOC Studios Limited, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 17107867), registered office 90 Christchurch Road, London SW14 7AX. Our studio is at 11 Wyfold Studios, Fulham, London SW6 6SE. We are the "data controller" responsible for your personal data under UK data protection law (the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018).

‍ ‍

If you have any questions about this policy or your data, contact us at hello@mirastudio.london.

‍ ‍

The information we collect

‍ ‍

Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect:

‍ ‍

  • Contact details — your name, email address, phone number, and postal address.

  • Booking and account information — the classes, packs, memberships, and private sessions you book, your attendance history, and any preferences you share with us.

  • Payment information — card and billing details needed to take payment. These are processed securely by our payment provider; we do not store full card numbers ourselves.

  • Health information — any health conditions, injuries, pregnancy, or other details you choose to share with us so we can keep you safe in class. This is "special category" data and we treat it with extra care (see below).

  • Marketing preferences — whether you've agreed to receive our newsletter or offers.

  • Website and technical data — information collected automatically when you browse, such as your device type, browser, and how you use the site, gathered through cookies and similar technologies.

‍ ‍

How we collect it

‍ ‍

We collect information when you fill in a form on our website, sign up to our newsletter, book or attend a class, become a member, contact us by email or social media, or browse the site.

‍ ‍

Why we use your information, and our lawful basis

‍ ‍

We only use your information where the law allows. The main reasons are:

‍ ‍

  • To provide our services — managing your bookings, memberships, packs, and payments. Lawful basis: performance of a contract with you.

  • To keep you safe — using any health information you share to adapt classes and respond appropriately. Lawful basis: your explicit consent, and protecting vital interests where necessary.

  • To communicate with you — sending booking confirmations, schedule changes, and important service messages. Lawful basis: performance of a contract, and our legitimate interests in running the studio.

  • To send marketing — where you've opted in, sending our newsletter and offers. You can unsubscribe at any time. Lawful basis: your consent.

  • To improve our website and services — understanding how the site is used. Lawful basis: our legitimate interests, and your consent for non-essential cookies.

  • To meet legal obligations — for example, keeping financial records for tax purposes. Lawful basis: legal obligation.

‍ ‍

Who we share it with

‍ ‍

We don't sell your data. We share it only with trusted providers who help us run the studio, and only as far as needed:

‍ ‍

  • Momence — manages class bookings, memberships, and your account, and processes payments via Stripe.

  • Stripe — processes card payments securely on our behalf.

  • Squarespace — hosts our website and provides website analytics.

‍ ‍

These providers act on our instructions and are bound to keep your data secure. Some may be based outside the UK; where that's the case, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place as required by UK data protection law.

‍ ‍

We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect the safety of our clients, staff, or the public.

‍ ‍

Cookies

‍ ‍

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies to function and to help us understand how it's used. You can control non-essential cookies through the cookie banner when you first visit, or through your browser settings.

‍ ‍

How long we keep it

‍ ‍

We keep your personal data only as long as necessary:

‍ ‍

  • Booking and account data — for as long as you're an active client, and for a reasonable period afterwards.

  • Financial records — for six years, as required by UK tax law.

  • Marketing data — until you unsubscribe or ask us to stop.

  • Health information — only for as long as you're an active client, then securely deleted.

‍ ‍

Keeping your information safe

‍ ‍

We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against loss, misuse, and unauthorised access. Our providers are chosen for their security standards.

‍ ‍

Your rights

‍ ‍

Under UK data protection law you have the right to:

‍ ‍

  • access the personal data we hold about you;

  • ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data;

  • ask us to delete your data in certain circumstances;

  • object to, or ask us to restrict, how we use your data;

  • withdraw consent at any time (where we rely on consent);

  • request a copy of your data in a portable format.

‍ ‍

To exercise any of these, email hello@mirastudio.london. We'll respond within one month.

‍ ‍

Children

‍ ‍

Our services are intended for adults aged 18 and over. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.

‍ ‍

‍ ‍

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page, with the "last updated" date shown above.
